Tim is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) and has been an active Financial Planner since November 2000. Tim has extensive experience in all areas of Financial Planning, whether it be the early stages of wealth creation, or preparing strategies for clients addressing their Retirement & Estate Planning needs. Tim also advises on Business Succession Planning and has an excellent knowledge of asset structures such as trusts, companies and superannuation including Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.
Tim maintains a strong interest and a wealth of knowledge in Portfolio Construction which is enhanced by attending the Portfolio Construction Forum in Sydney several times each year.
Luke has over 15 years’ experience in the financial services profession and holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tasmania, an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services and SMSF Accreditation. He is also a practicing member of the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA).
Luke specialises in wealth creation and retirement planning strategic advice. Luke also has extensive experience in using insurance strategies to implement wealth protection advice. Luke has won industry awards for his commitment to education and advice.
Alison is passionate about financial literacy and empowering others to make smart financial decisions. With over 25 years in the financial planning industry, she has seen the huge change that has occurred within the profession and the need for more transparent, ethical and well researched advice. Alison has the foundational education and qualifications to assist clients in meeting their financial goals. Her major in psychology and Diploma in Human Resources enables her to understand the importance of communication, relationship with others and the psychology surrounding money.
Alison is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® with a Diploma in Financial Planning, a Diploma of Business Management, a Diploma of Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in psychology. She has more recently completed her Post Grad in Financial Planning.
Louisa joined Ford + Scott in August 2018 from previous roles in the financial planning industry to further her career development. Recently, Louisa completed a Bachelor of Economics majoring in Economic Analysis and is currently studying her Masters of Financial Planning. Louisa is kept busy with her young daughter Audrey when not studying or working. She also enjoys travelling, walking her dog Lola, and spending time at the beach.
Jayden has over 11 years’ experience in the financial services industry and holds a Bachelor of Business degree and a Masters of Financial Planning through Kaplan Professional. He is also a practicing member of the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA).
Jayden has a keen interest in all financial matters, including specialising in wealth creation, personal risk insurance and retirement planning strategies. Jayden also has strong knowledge of asset structures such as Trusts, Companies and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.
Away from work, Jayden enjoys being involved in sport, is a life member of the North Hobart Football Club and loves spending time with family and friends, including his two young children Esther and Ziggy.
Thomas joined Ford + Scott in 2017, progressively working through his advisory pathway to now being an adviser. Thomas’ study has seen him complete a business degree at the University of Tasmania and his Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning with Kaplan Professional.
Outside of the office, Thomas excels at cricket; he is currently playing Club Coach at the Kingborough Knights in the Cricket Tasmania Premier League. Thomas also enjoys spending time with his wife, Erin, and young daughters, Evie and Sadie.
James commenced employment at Ford Scott in 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania. He has since completed his Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning and became an adviser at our firm in 2023.
Over his 5+ years at Ford Scott, James has gained experience in a number of advice areas. This has ranged from personal risk insurance, wealth creation and retirement planning to more complex matters including asset structuring and various tax strategies. His interests outside of work include the Footscray Bulldogs, golf and ’80s music.
Alex commenced working at Ford + Scott in June 2021 after retirement from his professional cricket career. Alex is currently studying Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning to further his career in this field. Alex has always taken an interest in finance, and when he is not at work or studying, Alex is spending time with his wife Laura and two young children or playing cricket with his current team Sandy Bay.
Erica joined Ford + Scott in March 2022, with a combined focus of People, Policies & Process and Compliance Support. As a non-practicing Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and member of the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA), Erica has over 15 years’ experience within the Financial Services Profession both in Hobart and Melbourne. Erica is passionate about creating clear processes and actively reviews efficiencies for the business. Outside of work hours, Erica enjoys looking after a busy household with her husband and three sports loving children, spending time at the beach and relaxing with family and friends.
Jenny Abbott
Office Manager
Jenny commenced working with Ford + Scott in 2007 with previous background in the finance industry. Jenny works full time as Office Manager, with 2022 being a special year becoming a doting Grandma to her granddaughter Remi. Outside of work, Jenny loves walking her two dogs, Buddy and Frankie, as well as beachcombing for antique relics and sea glass.

Rachael joined Ford + Scott in May 2024 working in the client services area. Rachael has completed a Batchelor of Social Science (Psychology) with a minor in HR at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Outside of the office, Rachael enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and exploring our beautiful state.

Mark commenced his Financial Planning career in 1990 and after 44 years working in Financial Services Mark decided to explore the benefits of retirement with effect 17 December 2022.
